Small Russian Imperial Gold 56 Enamel Pendant Russian Gold enamel pendant. Fully marked with the 56 zolotnik gold standard. Makers mark partially rubbed. The egg shaped pendant with suspension loop, enameled with oyster white translucent enamel over,a wavy sunburst engine turned ground, the two halves separated by a vertical band of yellow gold. Set with a pair of crossed flags of Imperial Russia and Imperial Navy, and the date 1905, this date was significant in Russian naval history, because the battle of Thushima took place on 27-28 May 1905.
