She studied history and archeology in Western Europe and the USA. She was a member of the American Society of Oriental Studies, the English Society for the Study of Asia and other scientific societies. Peru Z.A. Ragozina owns the 5-volume “Ancient History of the East” (published in English and Russian). This undeservedly forgotten work represents a brilliant popularization that met the world scientific standards of the late 19th century. Many sections of this History include Old Testament themes. The work of Z. A. Ragozina was and remains a monument to the extraordinary talent and extensive erudition of the author. This is a series of individual histories of the states of the ancient world, which give a complete picture of the political history, religion and culture of the ancient East. In addition to books on the East by Z.A.
