Condition: VERY GOOD PLUS unworn but rubbed playsV G++ very quiet lightest crackleHans Blädel was born on August 18, 1871 in Sulzbürg in the Upper Palatinate. His father was a locksmith by trade. After school, Hans learned the shoemaker's trade. As a young man interested in music, he joined the Stadtpfeiferei in Eichstätt, where he learned to master several musical instruments and became a folk singer. During an engagement in Augsburg, he also met his future wife. Anderl Welsch heard them both and hired them for his folk singing company in Munich. Together with Robert Lang they became a family business, to which Blädel's sons Hans and Georg (Schorsch) later joined. The latter continued the folk singer tradition until after the Second World War. For many years Hans Blädel worked at the Apollo Theater in Munich, of which he was temporarily director.Hans Blädel was a multi-instrumentalist and had an extensive repertoire. He played scenes and couplets by Anderl Welsch and Karl Maxstadt, from Alois Hönle to Karl Valentin. In the period from 1902 to 1931 he published over 800 sound recordings on a wide variety of stamps. He made many recordings in a duet with his long-time partner Robert Lang (1873-1935). Hans Blädel died at the age of 66 on September 9, 1937 in Munich. If for any reason your transaction was NOT SATISFACTORY, pls contact me and I will work something out with you. YOU WILL NEVER HAVE A REASON TO GIVE ME A NEGATIVE RATING or a LOW STAR RATING. Quick note on grading: The Grade (Excellent to Poor, I don't give Mint) refers to the WEAR of the record. Any other defects are stated separately When I listen to a record, I may also give it an aural grade (again E to P), and make a SUBJECTIVE judgment of the pressing quality for hiss and surface noise."EXCEPTIONALLY QUIET" is close to noiseless, like a vinyl pressing."VERY QUIET" is an above average quiet record for a given pressing."Quiet" is a record that is a great example with some noise. These judgments are SUBJECTIVE and will depend one the styli, phonograph etc. you use on your own equipment. Multiple item shipping: I am happy to combine items for shipment in one parcel.
