Description: Offered is an original autograph album or book gifted to Elsie Engver on Christmas Day 1903 by her Aunt, Anna Engver. Elsie lived in Chicago, Illinois, the family info / lineage is below. Almost every page in the book is filled with lovely messages and verses, quite a few are written in German. Many of the pages are decorated with pretty cut-out pictures and flowers. The autograph book measures 5 x 8 inches and has a velvet back cover.I obtained the autograph album in an estate lot with quite a few other things. From the different writings in the lot, I believe that the family name of the estate was Parson, they came from Illinois. Evelyn Parson was born Evelyn Louise Meyer, her mother was Elsie Louise Engver Meyer, born in 1892 in Illinois. I believe Elsie's mother was Louise Schumacher Engver, who was married to Emil Engver.
