In black ink. Written on one side of a sheet of laid watermarked writing paper, with the embossed seal of 'New Club' in Edinburgh. Addressed from 'Broomhall Dumfriesshire' to 'My dear Reiss' and signed at foot 'Elgin'. Dated 'May 3. 1901'. Page size - 18cm x 11.4cm. In very good overall condition.
