Description: I have here for sale a RARE edition of JAPANESE FAIRY TALE SERIES NO. 12 - THE CUB'S TRIUMPH. Translated into English by Mrs T. H. crepe paper book is illustrated throughout with traditional Japanese illustrations. Published by GRIFFITH FARRAN & CO, London & Sydney, it is undated but published around 1900 (ref. Library Hub) and is thought to be the First Edition. Also known as the Kobunsha's Japanese Fairy Tale Series (12 in all) and printed by Kobunsha in Tokyo. Soft crepe paper covers and pages, a little age soiling to the covers. Faint creasing to the top corners of the first 7 pages. A little splitting to the spine edge. Please see photos . It is in good condition, tightly bound with no loose or missing pages 16cm cx 10cm. Postage and packing : I know that you will be looking forward to receiving your order, each book is carefully wrapped in packing paper ( I have changed from bubble wrap to try and reduce my use of plastic) and posted in a Jiffy bag if size permitting, if not it is double wrapped in corrugated cardboard, brown paper and then securely taped. To keep the cost of the postage down to the most economical level per book, you may consider buying more than 1 item from my eBay account.
