Description: This antique hardbound book has seen some better days for sure. Its front cover is no long attached, The spine's cover is missing exposing the Boston Herald Newspaper that was used to bind it. the rear cover is still attached to the book, but loosely. there was perhaps some water damage to the bottom of the front and rear cover - it looks more washed out, worn, and stained then moldy. there is no spotting and the inside covers don't show any sign of it.the pages are worn at the edges & slightly brittle but not bad, and the top exposed pages are tinted with gold. there is maybe an Ex Libris type sticker on the inside front cover and an inscription to the first page, otherwise the pages are pretty clean, free of dog ears and tears. They don't appear to be smudged or stained. the pages are also well bound - no loose pages. please see photos I love to rescue vintage items, especially books, and help them find their forever homes.
