Description: Estate Find European Baroque Trestle Table We offer an eighteenth century Baroque trestle table with a rectangular board top with dentilled edge molding. The table is raised on cut out vasiform shaped board ends which have been joined by a pierced stretcher. The generously hewn wood is a lighter coloration and may be chestnut or a similar fruit wood. The table has a rich patina and shows wear consistent with age and use. There are minor losses and minor restructuring. One corner to the top and the left leg of one board end show old repairs. Two triangular blocks were added at some time to strengthen the underside of top. The table measures 95" in length by 21 1/2" in width with a height of 31". The trestle table is available for local pickup and assistance will be provided for buyer's choice of shipper.
