Description: Offering an antique Georgian Period Irish cut glass footed bowl with scalloped edge and a decorative shallow vesica cutting. Circa 1780-1820. Star cut solid faceted footed base. There are numerous chips on the scalloped edge. The bowl has a slight blue hue, Irish glass of this period contained impurities which often affected the color. Bubbles in the glass, shelf wear on the base and wear from use to the interior. Measures 6 5/8" in diameter and 4 1/2" tall. This pattern is frequently attributed to Waterford.
