Description: 18k gold earrings with 14k gold backs. The star earrings are not marked but tested 18k gold in the X-ray machine (in photos.) The backs do not match each other but are both marked 14k or 585. These were also tested. Weights in photos with and without the butterfly backs. See photos for condition. I typically ship next day unless item is purchased on Saturday or holiday. I describe the items to the best of my ability. Differences in scale display weight from mine to yours may be slightly different depending on the brand of scale we are both using. I weigh items on a flat surface and capture what is displayed. All fine jewelry is tested with a Therma Scientific Precious Metal Analyzer, magnet and Presidium Gem Tester. Some listings may contain photos of the item in the X-ray machine for clarity. Scrap jewelry lots may contain pieces that are not precious metals or gems such as bails, faux gems or other parts of jewelry that are not sterling, gold etc. I put these findings in the description and price accordingly. Please keep this in mind! Small, valuable pieces will be shipped in a box rather than mailers. This helps prevent items from getting lost in mail. I reuse shipping materials. Most of the packing material is reused from other shipments or scraps that I obtain from other businesses.
