Pretty front and rear cover adornments as well as illustrated endpapers with flower motif. Wear to covers extremities and some dulling of the cover illustrations. Very solid binding, small ¾” tear at bottom of title page, occasional rare finger smudge and aside from gift inscription no other writing noticed. Really a very nice well preserved copy of this almost 140 year old book! 9” by 7”.
