Copyright 1885, no print date but assumed first thus, as these titles are very scarce. The first edition was prublished by Claxton, Remsen & Haffelfinger in 1871. 6.5" by 4.5". 123 pages, plus 20 pages of publisher ads. Pictorial covers are stamped in black and brown, with gilt lettering on spine. Corners and spine ends are bumped, but have very little wear except at bottom of spine. Hinges and binding are tight. Pages are mildly toned, with a very occasional spot. There are facing, full page b&w illustrations preceding the title page as well as full page b&w illustrations scattered throughout. This is book 2 of 4 in The Doll's Club series. These are books about Victorian life, and specifically, the life of children and dolls. Overall condition is Very Good All my books are as described.
