Book in fair condition. Covers and spines of both volumes have some age-related wear and toning that has caused discoloration, with tears along the edges. The corners of the covers are slightly bent inwards. Bookseller sticker from W.B. Clarke and Carruth of Boston, Massachusetts is included on the bottom inside corner of the first page. Pages have age-related toning and foxing. Hinges are cracked but holding and pages have good support throughout. Illustrations have some toning and foxing, but are otherwise in good condition. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. The letter is in very good condition. This is the first two volumes of part seven of the historical narratives series by Francis Parkman focusing on France and England in North America.
