Description: Late 1800’s hand blown and etched specific gravity bottle by the Tatum glass company. Includes original soldered metal can and lid, packing cotton, blown glass bottle and its long skinny funnel. The can label looks like it was burned or chemical spilled at some point. Very hard to read, but it’s still there. Bottle holds exactly 1000 grains of pure water at 15 degrees Celsius. Can measures 4.5” tall. Last two photos show what the label originally would have looked like and a page from an early Tatum co catalog showing this in the bottom right corner.
