Description: 1880's-1890's "Congressional Chamber in the Capitol, Washington, D. C., U.S.A." & "Washington National Monument, Washington, D.C., U.S.A." stereoview photos. These two stereoview photos were issued by the Keystone View Company of Meadville, Pennsylvania. On light buff curved mounts as issued with rounded corners. These views measure 7 inches by 3 7/16 inches. The edges & corners have considerable wear & there is some age soiling. Corners are bumped. There are three pinholes in the edge of the mount on the Washington Monument view. Interestingly, the Congressional Chamber view has a tiny inked date of 4-19-75 & price of .25 on the back from when a previous owner purchased the card around half a century ago. Two appealing views. Please examine the photos closely & purchase based on your own judgement as to condition & value. This item is inventory #10136.
