This auction is for a lot of 14 vintage letters or document with their original envelopes and all have advertising on them. These all appear to be from the 1880s or so and they are from Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, sent to Charles P. Hitchcock. One of the strongest themes in this lot is that Mr. Hitchcock must of sold butter. People were concerned with price, quality, and apparently butter was not so popular then.
