Description: This is a sepia cabinet card photograph of a very pretty matron from Newark, New Jersey. Something tells me that she is a great cook. She has a lovely pleasant face and is wearing a highly stylish dress with hambone sleeves and a fitted bodice. The photographers were Schoenfelder & Kehle of Newark and their advertisement for their "Atelier" is on the back. The photo has a tiny bit of corner wear and very minor soiling. It has gold around the edges which dates it to about 1884.
