Oriental style folding hand fan that is decorated with a large image of the Main Building from the 1876 Centennial Exhibition and lists the primary hotels available for Philadelphia visitors. The fan has hand tinted Oriental figures on each side of the Main Building and there are 12 hotels listed at the top. The back of the fan has an animal design with some glitter instead of the more common kite flying scene. The fan folds like an accordion with wide wooden slats and the maximum dimensions (open) are 12" x 21".
