Description: This is the first GEM we have seen or liked since the last one we owned in 2012! That is a powerful statement as to the coins rarity. Of course, 2e ONLY buy the best for the grade-and this coin is a winner! Deep mirrors are highly reflective all over. We seen no problems anywhere, When you twirl the coin, the mirrors look like glass. Moderate and totally original toning consisting of evergreen/blue/gold/deep champagne evenly blankets both sides. Miss Liberty and the details are fully struck and stand out. The eye appeal is super nice! Only 700 were minted. PCGS 20, NGC 16, CAC 5. Remarkably, we could not find ANY PCGS CAC pieces ever selling via auction. Back in 2012, we sold one for $12,750.00. None of the price sheets are accurate because none have sold. We consider this to be a VERY UNDERrated date and grade. Good luck trying to find another as nice!
