Description: A very attractive copy of Phineas Finn, illustrated by the incredibly talented J. E. Millais. Covers show minor wear; hinges well used and front hinge cracked open before frontispiece--some separation although book is holding together quite well in spite of it. Small tear on spine--could likely be glued--adjacent tear at the edge (please see photo). Pages are mostly quite clean and good. Some brown toning and an occasional minor spot. Note: I try to identify any flaws in books as much as possible. Sometimes a photo will catch something that I hadn't noticed when making the listing--so it's good practice to look at the photographs as well as to read the listing.
