Gildner (?-1864). These 2 invoice book pages (#132 & #133) are signed a total of 42 times. Signed by Private Gildner (7 times), Private Charles Henry (17 times), by Lieutenant James Stuber (7 times), once by Lieutenant Theodore Mink (2 times), and by Lieutenant Allen Lawall (9 times). *** Information included on ALL of these UNION Soldiers/Officers *** Charles Henry served throughout the war from 1861 to 1865. Francis R. Gildner (who signs the document seven times) enlisted into the 47th on 30 August 1861 and died on 18 September 1864; he was killed in action at the Battle of Cedar Creek, Virginia (see image # 13). Very good condition. VERY FEW ink stains. Rough margin, some removed from company book, folded in half. This document is “double-sided” and in EXCELLENT (and readable) condition.
