Description: This is a scarce 1864 Copper US Two Cent 2 w/ Tiny Patent Counterstamp - "PAT JUNE ????" Obverse on Obverse Has a tiny (approx 8mm) counterstamp on the shield stating "PAT JUNE" with some numbers (date/year?) that I can't quite make out. Coin itself is in very nice condition with great patina. . Stamping is definitely of the period (not recent), as the copper color/patina is completely uniform on both obverse and reverse. Coin also has a nice reverse die crack (see closeup of reverse). A nice counterstamped example! item om7c1230
