Also in the book is an early printing of "A Visit From St. Nicholas." The book measures approximately 6.5 x 9.5 inches and has 620 pages of text and illustrations. Fine binding features embossed leather over boards with raised spine ribs, gilt cover designs, gilt page edges, and fancy end pages. This 161 year old book is in good condition overall with moderate wear to the covers, mostly at the spine tips. The front hinge looks like it was secured, but everything looks sturdy.
