Description: A very interesting Journal of Doctor Nicholas Cassell Griffith1859-1863, evidently transcribed and privately published by his grand daughter in 1969 for the other grandchildren. She did a fine job and created an outstanding family heirloom -- and another (see https://www.ebay.com/itm/335284476376) the next year! There are six 5" x 7" photos of the Doctor and his wife, with captions, in the front of the book, followed by an 8-page introductory letter by the author, and then 38 pages of the doctor's journal, plus 8 more pages of a transcribed letter and obituary. The book is hardcover, bound in simulated leather, and about 9" x 11". It is in very good shape with some minor cover wear as shown. Looks unread. A wonderful piece of family history and an awesome addition to any collection. I ship every day the post office is open with your item safely packed the way it deserves to be.
