Rodriguez in Los Angeles (1851)Rodriguez squinted across the dusty square of the city. He, along with the other lancers of his company had spent an entire day preparing for the yearly parade that marked the recent statehood of California, and now, they were anxious to start. On this day the lanceros donned their gala full dress, with the warm California sun glinting off of gold lace and lance points alike. The richly clad lancers made a magnificent display. Lancero Rodriguez sat up proudly as his captain raised his hand to start the parade, and moved out smartly, convinced that every senorita in the crowd would be watching only him."Series 77 Miniatures" was founded by Pat Bird and John Tassel to produce 77mm size miniatures (hence the company name); with their only fantasy line released around November 1979. John, however, decided to leave Series 77 to devote full time to the now world-famous Lassett Miniatures.
