It was published in 1852 as stated on the title page, a copy of which is included for authenticity. The map was designed by Alexander Keith Johnston, whose name appears in the title block and in the bottom left margin. In general, there is some handcoloring showing major routes of campaigns, troop positions, batteries and other details, depending on each map. It is not mounted or matted being sold as a single sheet as shown in the first pic. A great map for framing or study. Size: The map image measures approximately 6 by 8 inches (15 x 20cm) on a 9 by 11" (22 x 28cm) page with one inch or more margins all around for framing. Condition: The map is in Very Good condition for its age with overall tonal ageing with some darkening around the edges, otherwise the map is very clean, printed on a heavy page with a slight buff tint and some handcoloring of troop positions.
