Description: For those of you who follow me for the Ivan Lendl estate I want to thank you. I know there are some amazing tennis items I have listed and will be listing. People do not realize that Ivan and Samantha are also collectors of fine art and antique items. I have ten boxes full of antique Czech glass. This is the real deal stuff. In fact Ivan invested fairly heavily in this stuff. It is gorgeous. I have hundreds of amazing pieces. Most of the still have the original pricing on them from back in the 80’s when it was last purchased. This helps me to price it with the current market value. Buying this is truly buying a piece of Czech history. Much of this glass comes from the 1800’s and early 1900’s. I also have thousands of books I will be listing from the same age group. This is a stunning glass. Luckily it had the age on it. It is from 1851. I often times pinch myself when I hold something that is just under 200 years old. Considering its age it is in amazing condition. There are some superficial scratches and a few very tiny chips along the bottom edge of the glass. There are also some air bubbles from the blowing process. I do not see anything chipped or cracked. I truly can’t describe how gorgeous the etching is. I don’t understand a work of Czech. Guessing it appears to be five names on the glass and some type of slogan on the glass. Lastly it there is a seal like etched picture with the date. The symbol features flags, paddles, tools and an anchor. I have the absolute best clients. As a mover in a wealthy community I am lucky enough to work with some truly famous but more importantly kind celebrities. I am in the process of moving the Lendl family. Samantha and Ivan have put their trust in me, not only to relocate them, but also to help them downsize. I am so grateful. This is one of thousands of items I am going to be listing that belonged to them. Not only are you getting a high quality item, but you are getting something once owned by the former number one tennis player in the world. I have some fantastic items of theirs. Signed posters, artwork, Czechoslovakian books even a wedding dress that was worn by Samantha. If you are a fan of tennis be sure to follow me
