Description: Beautiful Flow Blue 7 ¼” Dessert Plate in the Highly Collectible Cashmere Pattern Featuring Two Deer. This Oriental Transferware Pattern was made by Francis Morley, Staffordshire, England – c. 1850. The deep Cobalt Blue glaze is heavily flowed on the front of this lovely piece. It is also decorated with Floral Sprigs on the reverse. Note that the shape of this early Plate is in the less commonly-found round vs paneled or fluted shape. The Plate is in very good condition, appearing to have never been used - just a couple of very light stacking marks visible in the well (only noticeable if held sideways up to light) and a small ¼” shallow chip along the back edge. Fine Crazing and Stilt marks are present, of course, given how it was made.
