It is from an edition of Stieler's Hand Atlas, published in Gotha by Justus Perthes, a copy of the title page is included. The map is actually dated "1832, revised 1847" in the bottom left margin. Stieler's Hand Atlas appears in the top right margin and Stulpnagel's name appears in the bottom left margin. The map is not mounted, matted nor framed being sold as a single map as seen in the first pic. Size: The map area measures 12x15 inches (31x40cm) on a 14 1/2 by 17 1/2" page (37x45cm) Condition: The map is in Fair to Good condition, blank on reverse, no centerfold, printed on a heavy cotton paper. There is a light damp stain at the top and a few spots, wear around the edges and a hole in the right margin, otherwise the paper is strong and not brittle. It has stong original handcolor as issued with an overall nice antique appearance.
