Description: This is a nice hand colored map of the Central States (America) from 1844. The owner of the book, John H. Goldsmith, wrote a poem titled "Smiles From Beauty" on the back of the map. I would estimate it was written in 1850, based on other clues throughout the atlas. It came from an 1844 Olney's Atlas. You are buying just the one map (with poem on back), not the whole atlas.
