Description: Beautiful original 1833 edition of "The Headsman" volume III by J. Fenimore Cooper, published by Richard Bentley London. The book is in very good condition and bears the Ex Libris book plate of Robert Hoe and was stunningly bound by the world renowned The Club Bindery 1906 in full blue leather with gilt decoration. The top edges of the pages are gilt. The book is in very good condition with some bumps to the edges of the cover, a bleached inscription(done by the binder), no missing or loose pages, no looseness to the spine, with a very clean and tight interior. The book measures approx. 7 3/4" x 4 3/4" x 1" thick. A FINE EXAMPLE - (please view all photos for the best representation of quality and condition).
