Bethlehem Steel and grew into the second largest steel manufacturer in the nation, producing materials for structures such as the Golden Gate Bridge, the Brooklyn Bridge, and the Empire State Building. Acquired from above by present owner. Property from a Bucks County, Pennsylvania Collection. Footnote: Mary G. Roebling (New Jersey, 1905-1994) was the first woman to serve as the head of a major commercial bank in the United States when she became president of the Trenton Trust in 1937. Condition The binding is tight spine shows general wear, areas of loss, and stains to the marbled boards. The text block is generally clean with little to no foxing. The three original fold out inserts are in remarkable condition.
