Description: This is a rare silver members medal for the Birmingham Pitt club. Excellent condition, which I grade as AU/UNC. Has old silver toning with faint traces of blue at the edges. Nice. The obverse has Pitt, draped bust facing left with legend around. "NON SIBI SED PATRIAE" Maker Webb at bottom. The reverse within an oak wreath legend reads in 3 lines "BIRMINGHAM / PITT - CLUB / MDCCXIV" = 1814.A lovely silver medal about 50.5mm with old silver toning that is just what it should be. Not quite as nice as my Manchester medal, but less money. My second and last one. U.S. insured shipping is $5. It will cost me more. PayPal preferred. This was once part of my anti slavery collection as Pitt was a proponent of ending that horrible business and lectured often against it. I am always open to offers on any of my listings. Just ask. Worst thing is I say no. I COMBINE SHIPPING USUALY ADDING NOTHING AND WHEN I DO ONLY ENOUGH TO COVER ADDITIONAL INSURANCE OR POSTAGE. IF YOU PAY FOR MORE THAN ONE ITEM, I WILL REFUND THE DIFFERENCE.
