Description: This is a modern take-off a Civil War or 1800s nurse's uniform. The blue in the photos is much too bright and light. The color is much more what you might think of as subtle hospital blue. The apron is attached and is a full one on the front (top and waist fall). Although the dress is polyester, it is not a flimsy costume. It is closer to a polyester knit. I know that there is a term for it, but I don't remember it. It resembles the polyester cloth in street clothes. The dress could also be used as a maid's dress in the early 20th century and the 19th century.
