Description: Antique Craftsman Style French Door School Room Divider - C. 1905 Architectural Salvage. The overall dimensions are 140 1/2" x 112 1/4" tall x 11 1/4" and the wall thickness is 7 3/4". This room divider is very unique as it has a set of french doors with transom window above, double hung windows on each side with transom windows above, complete and original textured wire glass on the french doors and windows and clear wire glass on the upper transom windows. This room divider is completely original, made of solid Fir and includes the doors, widows, pediments with crown molding and all applied trim as pictured. This was removed from the historic Madison Elementary School in historic Quincy, IL. This room divider has an aged shellac (varnish) finish on one side, and an antique white painted finish on the other, each with a beautiful patina. This is absolutely beautiful piece and would look great anywhere!This is in Excellent condition with a beautiful patina and is ready for display, use or your restoration project.
