Description: I have here for sale a book entitled JOHNSON'S DICTIONARY OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE, IN MINIATURE; To which are added, an Alphabetical Account of the Heathen Deities; a List of the Cities, Boroughs and Market Towns, in England and Wales; a Copious Chronology; and a concise Epitome of the Most Remarkable Events during the French Revolution. Published just 3 years after the first edition, published in 1799 by LONGMAN AND REES, London. Rebound in brown linen boards. New endpapers. Lacking frontispiece. Age soiling to the front page edge of the first few pages. Scattered spotting through the book. This book is in very good condition, tightly bound with no loose pages [2],284pp 15cm x 10cm. Postage and packing : I know that you will be looking forward to receiving your order, each book is carefully wrapped in packing paper ( I have changed from bubble wrap to try and reduce my use of plastic) and posted in a Jiffy bag if size permitting, if not it is double wrapped in corrugated cardboard, brown paper and then securely taped. To keep the cost of the postage down to the most economical level per book, you may consider buying more than 1 item from my eBay account.
