Description: 17.5" Karl Niedersuss Symphonie Dressage Saddle 17.5" Karl Niedersuss Symphonie Dressage Saddle This saddle offers so much history and skill, it's insane! Karl Niedersuss saddles have been chosen by the Spanish Riding School in Vienna, the Austrian National Team, the Dutch National Team, and many other European and North American champion dressage riders. It was so cool to see these saddles in use at the Spanish Riding School! Karl Niedersuss was an official saddler to the 1988 Olympics and his saddlery has practiced the art of saddle making for over 200 years. The Symphonie is THE dressage classic from Niedersüss. Panels gently cut forward and a flatter seat allows the rider the best influence on his horse. The particular feeling of riding gives a harmonious picture in competition and thus makes the desired success easier. Stamped 45 cm seat, fitting as a generous 17.5". 16" flap with moderate, medium length blocking and a semi-forward tree. VERY wide tree on this one, fitting true to X-Wide, measuring 6.5". Looks to be more of a hoop tree with sprung tree points. Wool flocked with great flocking, wide challenging and standard gussets and a shorter panel at just 20.5" that is more upswept. This is an older saddle, but has been very well cared for, with recently replaced billets. Shows minor signs of wear, but the leather is incredibly soft. Comes fitted as well! You can have a bit of history, have great quality, for a great price!
