Description: I have here for sale a book entitled PHRASEOLOGIA GENERALIS or A Full, Large and General Phrase Book by William Robertson. It is a first edition published by George Sawbridge, London in 1681. It is laid out alphabetically in English with the meaning in both English and Latin and phrases in both languages using the word. Brown leather hardboards with 4 raised bands to the spine. Wear to head and tail and to corners. Boards firm. Ink marks and writing to the front endpaper. The page opposite the title page has a section torn off. Ink name written on the title page. A couple of ink marks to the page edges. Internally though it is clean. Condition: good. 1366 pages, 20 cm x 12 cm. We have over 2000 items in our Ebay shop on a range of subjects, so please feel free to have a browse and see if anything else takes your fancy.
