Description: Please check the photos closely as they do clearly show both the great details but also the various darkened spots. NGC price guide is $350 for VF for an 1653. However, due to the spots I have priced this coin substantially lower.I was asked to check the diameter (size) of this coin, as the 1/4, 1/2, and 1 Ecu do not provide the denomination on the coins. It is approximately 32 mm and weighs (on my kitchen scale, not a precise scale, almost 1/2 ounce) which makes it a 1/2 Ecu rather than a 1/4. And so I have revised the listing.
