Description: A set of 15x British army ROYAL WEST KENT REGIMENT STAYBRITE BUTTONS. These are all small sized (19mm) buttons - as used on the No.1 Dress ('Best Blue') tunic. These quite rare buttons, as they are very early examples of anodised aluminium (aka 'staybrite') buttons, which feature the crown of King George VI (see photos). All made by 'Buttons Limited, Birmingham', and stamped with their details on the reverse. They look unissued, and have been in storage for years. Some very slight discoloration on the reverse of some (see photos), but otherwise - the surfaces are unworn, and in excellent condition for age (1947-1952 era).Buy-it-Now price is just £9.99 - for a set of 15 buttons; as shown in the photo.
