14k Yellow Gold Enormous 10-11ct Honeycomb Rainbow Fire Black Opal Ring 13.7g

Description: This is a big ring . I personally think a man or woman could wear it . The opal is 19.5 x 16.6 and is 10.5 to 11 carats . It weighs just under 14 grams at 13.7 grams. As you can see in the picture of the underside of this ring, this is NOT a doublet or triplet. It is a solid black opal. The size on the mandrel shows as a 7.5 to 8, but for reference, I wear an 8 on the finger shown in the pictures. It can also be sized. I took as many pictures as possible to show all the colors it could display. Unfortunately, unless a seller has an eBay store, eBay does not give the option of adding a viedo to the description. Apparently black opal can be smoked to darken the background & bring out the color flash. I was left my uncles gem collection when he passed & the opals are just labeled as black opals & Unfortunately without getting a very expensive appraisal on each piece with black opal I have no way of knowing if any one is smoked. When I spoke to the authentication people about this they told me it's a common treatment in black opals & they advised if I'm unsure just to put that I'm unsure but its possible. Either way & regardless they are beautiful & if you like the look then it shouldn't matter. Also to add to this disclosure the people who have purchased black opal jewelry from me loved them.
