These decals can be used with the 1/48th scale Monogram, Encore, Revell, and Hasegawa F-102A Delta Dagger model kit. Description: This particular sheet provides markings for a single aircraft from the 4th Fighter Intercept Squadron. This aircraft, known as the “Red Striped Rascal”, was based in Japan in 1962. The sheet includes all the necessary data markings and insignias required to complete the model. Like all the newer Superscale sheets, the markings are crisply printed and in register, making the data markings easily readable. This sheet will undoubtedly add vibrant colors to your next model. Markings Included For 1 Aircraft: Convair F-102A-51-CO Delta Dagger, Serial No. 56-0960 – “Red-Striped Rascal”, 4th FIS/39th AD, Naha Air Base, Okinawa, Japan, 1962. After being stationed in Japan, the F-102A-51-CO Delta Dagger with serial number 56-0960 was transferred to the South Dakota ANG 175th FIS, and then moved to the Connecticut ANG 118th FIS. On May 5th, 1970, Delta Dagger 56-0960 was placed into storage at the AMARC bone yard and salvaged in February 1975.As with all older decal sets, precaution should be taken.
