The wand measures 14 3/4-inches in overall length with a 9 1/4-inch tapered shaft section that features four bulbs, a 5 1/2-inch handle section that features two additional bulb areas with an approximate 3/4-inch diameter at the widest point, finished with natural pigments and metallic gold with a durable high gloss luster coat, and the wand includes a velvet cloth storage bag. The bulb areas on this wand have small dimples similar to the dimples on the bulb areas of the Elder wand, but not as pronounced as with the Elder wands design. This design is based on a movie prototype wand that was decided against due to its similarity to the Elder wand.
