Description: 14 Vintage 1950s Fashion Drawings, Suits, Dresses, Women, Nudes, Signed Lot Here are 14 vintage pencil fashion drawings from the 1950s by an artist named Robert Baxter. His name is on one of the drawings, and on the back of several drawings: "R. L. Baxter". Also, most of the drawings are signed "RB". One of the drawings is dated 1953. Perhaps he was a student. The lady's attire includes suits, dresses, evening gowns, coats, pants, hats, purses, gloves, jewelry, shoes, and even a wedding dress. One drawing has girl's clothing. Two of the drawings are nude or semi-nude (with black bars added for modesty; the bars are not on the actual drawings). Most of the pages are drawing paper, but four are tissue, and one is a smaller lined page. All but the lined page measure approximately 8.5 x 11 in. The lined page measures 6 x 9.25 in. The pages have normal age tanning but are in very good condition with a few bent corners or small edge tears. What a fabulous vintage lot!
