Description: . Welcome to the XGREMLIN COMIC BOOKS CHEAP Clearance Sales Store! Photos above always show the actual items that you will get, because I never use "stock photos." Please excuse any reflections or focus issues. Having all of my comics professionally graded by CGC would cost a fortune and take forever, so I only have gotten my most valuable books graded. I have been collecting comics for more than 40 years -- buying most of them when they were brand new, reading them once and then putting them in bags. My grading scale is Near Mint (looks like it was just bought, any flaws are extremely minor), Very Fine (almost Near Mint, but just misses), Fine (misses by a little more), Very Good (shows evidence of handling and has notable flaws but none are disastrously awful), Good (more flawed, still a solid book for reading but that's about it), Fair (big problems) and Poor (horrible condition, trash it after reading it). Here is what you will get in this auction: This auction is for 14 comic books in great condition. (Note: The previous "winner" of this auction flaked out and never paid, which is why this auction is re-listed. These are the only copies of these issues that I have, in other words.) More details: CAPTAIN AMERICA issue 5, February 2012, Marvel Comics, VERY FINE. This is from the $3.99 series written by Ed Brubaker. CAPTAIN AMERICA issue 6, February 2012, Marvel Comics, FINE (some minor impressions on cover, but still looks like new). This is from the $3.99 series written by Ed Brubaker. THE DEMON Annual 1, 1992, DC Comics, VERY FINE condition. FRANKENSTEIN AGENT OF S.H.A.D.E. issue 11, September 2012, DC Comics, VERY FINE. FRANKENSTEIN AGENT OF S.H.A.D.E. issue 12, October 2012, DC Comics, VERY FINE. FURY issue 1, 1994, Marvel Comics. This was a one-shot Nick Fury book with no ads, 64 pages of story, written by Barry Dutter with art by M.C. Wyman, Chris Ivy and Greg Adams. As the cover says, "Featuring the secret origin of the greatest espionage agency in the world -- S.H.I.E.L.D." Although the book still looks like new, I'm calling the condition only "Very Good" because it has a corner bump at bottom right and a tiny chip at the top of the spine. DESTROYER issue 1, June 2009, NM. These are four issues (1 2 3 and 5) from the unbelievably great 5-issue 2009 Marvel Comics mini-series DESTROYER by Robert Kirkman and Cory Walker (the team that does the fantastic Image Comics series "Invincible"). Kirkman also is famous for creating "The Walking Dead" and his work on the Marvel Zombies books. DESTROYER issue 2, July 2009, NM DESTROYER issue 3, August 2009, NM DESTROYER issue 5, October 2009, NM THE VISION: THE DREAMING issue 1, November 1994, Near Mint. You will get all four issues of this 1994 miniseries featuring everyone's favorite member of The Avengers (well, okay, maybe a few people's favorite, anyhow) written by Bob Harras with art by Manny Clark. THE VISION: THE DREAMING issue 2, December 1994, Near Mint THE VISION: THE DREAMING issue 3, January 1995, Near Mint THE VISION: THE DREAMING issue 4, February 1995, Very Fine You'll love them!
