Description: Check out this great vintage item. This was made out of a snapping turtle's shell which are pretty common where I live. They get hit on the road pretty regularly and then people will try to use them and this is the result. This was definitely handmade by someone. The shell has been lacquered so that it is dustable and will not flake away onto your floor. The interior of the shell is natural. This is a pretty good sized turtle shell. It measures 13 in tall by just over 11 in wide. I do not see any cracks and everything appears to be in good condition with the shell. See photos for condition of the item. Feel free to reach out with any questions you may have. The clock hands look like they have been bent a little during storage over the years. I've bent them back so they are pretty close but I imagine even after I ship it to you you may need to straighten them a little bit.
