Thereby the bottom or keel may be a bit rough and may require some extra attention and work. It's not a defect, it's how the kit is and the only way to guarantee a clean appearance and fit for the upper half of the kit. Because these kits are handmade, they may require the molds to be recast at times. Therefore, there may be extended delays in shipping, sometimes up to two weeks.
