It contains all non-error printing varieties of Scott number 1285 Albert Einstein. The gummed sheet singles are perforated 11 x 10½. The stamps are from the Prominent Americans sheet issue, which ran from 1965 to 1979. The Violet colored stamps were issued in panes of 100. The rotary press stamps were first untagged and then later tagged. Untagged mint Bureau precancels are sold separately when available. Experimental tagging was introduced to speed up automated mail processing.
