Description: For sale is a hard-to-find participant wristband given out to runners at the 2021 (125th) Boston Marathon. These were used to mark the participants that successfully showed proof of vaccination or a recent negative test for COVID - to prevent easy manipulation of the vaccination status check-in system, these have a one-way fabric grip slide that makes it extremely difficult to remove without cutting the band. These bracelets are new/unused so they are still fully intact. SAFETY NOTE: These are being sold as a collectible - it is not recommended that this be worn on the body because they are (by design) extremely difficult to remove without damaging the band. The locking nature of the clasp poses a risk of cutting off circulation if it is overtightened. For these reasons, it is not recommended these be given to or be kept within reach of children. Buyer is 100% responsible for the safe handling of this item. Please let me know if you would like the band without the clasp and I can remove it prior to shipment.
