It consists of a large piece of gray Dolostone matrix with a vug that contains about 11 Herkimer Diamonds which measure almost an inch at the largest. The vug goes all the way through the rock and the crystals inside can be viewed from either side. The crystals have sharp edges and terminations with spectacular clarity and are perched in a bed druzy quartz and black hydrocarbon.
